When approached by the home owners there were specific requirements; Create a design that would take advantage of the beautiful views toward the Long Island Sound and the scenic golf course adjoining their back yard and create a seamless transition to the pool area which sat at a lower elevation than the main floor living space.
As in all of our designs our vision starts as you approach the home. In this case we needed to create a connection between an existing pool at a lower elevation out the rear.
The upper radius deck addresses the panoramic views while its waterproof deck system creates an exterior living area below that is one story closer to the pool and patio. The addition of an exterior fire place is a gathering spot between the pool and living area levels . This is but a few of the homes charming and unique features.
